The Mount Sinai School in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, India was founded by Mr. PK Benjamin and his wife Mrs. Shashi Benjamin on 1 August 1994. Being devoted and zealous educationists, they wanted to establish a school which would provide a safe, affordable and loving environment for children to develop holistically into not only academically successful but also good and respectable human beings. On this momentous day, set in the backdrop of the picturesque Nainital foothills and surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Jim Corbett National Park, the school of their dreams became a reality. Since then the school has been moving ahead progressively in the service of the children and the community. Mount Sinai School is an English medium school run and managed by the Christian Minority Community. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi and prepares students for the ICSE ( X) and ISC ( XII) examinations. The school is run under the management of the Mount Sinai School Society, registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The school is open to all children irrespective of sex, caste, creed or social status. ==References==
